So, it has been a bit since I have attempted to really set up a website. This new age of interconnectivity in social networking is pretty interesting. A few years back I (while I was in college) ran a web design business on my own. I utilized PHP, mySQL, and all that fun scripting stuff. I could do some neat stuff but I never really got ultra proficient. As such, it often took me large amounts of time to fumble my way through stuff and figure it out. I could always get there but at what cost. When I decided to tackle this little personal venture I was concerned that it would take forever trying to learn all the API's for the different websites and such, boy was I wrong.
I started on Facebook. I spent about 10 hours fumbling around trying to see how to put it into use and which would be the best course of action. All I really wanted was my status updates on my personal homepage. Then, just as I was about to vomit FBML, I decided to take a break and explore another app.
I fired up a new Twitter account. Then I checked my Facebook and set up a fan page for myself. Then Facebook backhanded me with a "would you like to link your twitter account to this Facebook account and automatically update your Twitter status?" So for a moment I debated on tearing out my hair and I realized that I had none. Instead I painted on a frusterated grin and clicked YES!
So it turns out that Twitter has little widgets all over the damn place that will paste your activity where ever you want it. In summary, that was 10 hours of investigating development for something that has been done just fine in a different direction. I love it!!!
Once I got that flowing it all just kind of works. I have my Youtube build into my blog here and the main site as well as linked on Facebook so that everytime I create a new video blog the info will be passed around to each of the socail media services. Now I just need to design my site and turn it on, then find some followers so that I don't feel like I am wasting my time completely.
~The Phubar, out...
p.s. don't worry, the flowing product will be of epic proportions. Or I will receive lots and lots of e-mails asking for peoples time back.
p.p.s there will be no time refunds.

Heheh yes you are Sam. I appreciate the support buddy. As soon as I figure out a really neat prize I will let you know.
hmmmm....me thinks I will try to keep an eye on this endeavor just to see how it goes for you. Why I never see you on the XBox anymore?
Heheh, well no promises but I am pretty much a bad ass so this promises to be an epic journey.
I haven't played my xBox since you left here man. I guess I just lost interest, at least for now.
